We are so glad you’ve joined us online at Calvary Kids. Over the next few weeks, we will be sharing content every Sunday for your kids to use during our virtual church experience. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be leading up to Easter, and talking about what Jesus has done for us!
If you have a children’s Bible, you can read any part of the Easter story – for example, the Last Supper, Palm Sunday, or Jesus dying and rising again. Alternatively, you can use the Bible Story Cards below.
Family Activity: We are going to say what we need to know today as we pop up and down, like a chick pecking the ground! So, when we say, “Jesus,” we will stand up tall. (STAND tall) When we say, “Is,” we will squat down low. (SQUAT low) Then when we say, “The,” we will stand up tall again.
(STAND tall) And we will keep standing tall and squatting down as we say our Need to Know three times. Here we go!
HAVE kids say and do the following, three times through:
• Jesus (stand tall)
• Is (squat low)
• The (stand tall)
• Best (squat low)
• Ever (stand tall)
Don’t have access to a printer? That’s okay! Read the Bible story from your phone or other device, and then have your kids draw a picture from the story.
If you have one of our Adventure Bibles (or another Bible at home), you can read from Luke 22:7-38.
Family Activity: Play Pictionary together with the words on the Leader Guide below. After you’ve guessed each word, pause and answer the questions, and talk about God’s plan being the BEST ever!
Don’t have a printer? That’s okay! You can access everything on your phone or tablet!
